Hi, I'm Elodie and I love making things.

From the moment I was old enough to illegally sell fresh cool lemonade on the side of the street, I knew I wanted to have my own business someday. It was the most successful of times, it was the most unsuccessful of times. I discovered a new interest, but I only made a few dollars. Obviously I did not aspire to have a business selling lemonade though, as that is not where my passion lies. I grew up surrounded by art and always creating and giving. I want to spread happiness and smiles, but not with lemonade. One thing I remember most from my childhood were the dolls I would make with the help of my mother. For a lifeless figure made out of beads, twine and fabric, these dolls held so much meaning to me, more than any store-bought Barbie or Zhu Zhu pet could have. I see so much love and joy that gets put into hand-made things and I want to continue sharing the gift of not only a creation, but a memory and meaning.

Just like the very hungry caterpillar, I ate and I grew, and by the time I was sixteen I gained an interest in geology and gemstones. I had also been doing calligraphy for a few years and when I put those two interests together, I was able to create my personalized agate slices. The first three I made turned out even better than I had imagined and this grew into a very successful side business of mine.
